Palm Bay Chamber Announces New Members

BREVARD COUNTY • PALM BAY, FLORIDA – The Greater Palm Bay Chamber of Commerce has announced the following new members to their organization:

The Chamber also welcomes Wellcare as a Silver Trustee. Wellcare provides managed-care administrative services to government funded health care programs. Silver Trustees enjoy many unique benefits not offered to the lower tiered membership levels.

BUSINESSES OF THE MONTH

The Chamber also announced the April 2013 Business of the Month was the Space Coast Economic Development Commission for their successful efforts in bringing new companies and jobs to Brevard County. The May 2013 Business of the Year was awarded to Berman Hopkins Wright and Laham CPA’s for their continued support and sponsorships for the Chamber.

The Palm Bay Chamber Business of the Month awards are sponsored each month by Joe Raley State Farm Insurance.

NETWORKING LUNCHEON

The Chamber holds their monthly networking luncheon on the first Wednesday of each month at the Life Care Center of Palm Bay at 175 Villa Nueva Ave. NE off Malabar Road, just west of Palm Bay Hospital (map below).

The June 5 luncheon presenter will be Palm Bay Mayor William Capote who will talk about the growth plans and his vision for the city.

2013 TRUSTEES

The Palm Bay Chamber’s 2013 Trustees include Health First, Waste Management, City of Palm Bay, Florida Power and Light Company, Comfort Suites, Intersil, and Wellcare. Trustee members are considered corporate pillars that support the entire business community through financial and sponsorship contributions throughout the year. The Trustees benefit from continual company exposure along with understanding that they are helping the smaller and startup businesses by providing them with a central resource for help.
