BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Eastern Florida State College is hosting a Disabled America Veterans sponsored premiere of a documentary on the struggles of women veterans returning from war.
“Service: When Women Come Marching Home” will be shown at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 23 on the college’s Melbourne Campus in the Bldg. 4 auditorium, located at 3865 N. Wickham Road, Melbourne.

Eight intimate portraits focus on the struggles of two women returning to their roles as mother and wives after serving in combat zones, and their effort to remember how to love.
Produced by Marcia Rock and Patricia Lee Stotter, the documentary takes the audience on a journey from the deserts of Afghanistan to rural Tennessee and from Iraq to New York City.

A panel discussion will follow the screening.
Presenters include filmmaker, Marcia Rock; Mariette Kalinowski, a veteran featured in the film; Lori Parsons with Family Counseling Centers of Brevard; and Mollie Mulholland, a combat veteran and member of the Center for Combat Resiliency at Florida Tech.
