BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA — USA College Football became the latest organization to recognize Florida Tech’s student-athletes, as seven Panthers were named Preseason All-Americans for the first time on Monday.

Florida Tech’s first team selections included redshirt senior wide receiver Xavier Milton, junior tight end Gabe Hughes and senior offensive lineman Ramsey Sellers.

Collecting second team honors was redshirt senior linebacker Justin Arcune. Sophomore defensive lineman Skylar Sheffield, redshirt sophomore linebacker Chris Stapleton and redshirt sophomore Manny Abad were named to the third team.

All honorees are eligible to participate in the USA College Football Bowl, scheduled to be held Monday, Jan. 15, 2015 in Jackson, Mississippi.

Monday’s announcement follows last Tuesday’s news that Florida Tech placed six on the Beyond Sports Network Preseason All-Gulf South Conference Team.

Honorees on that team were Abad, Arcune, Hughes, Milton, Sellers and Stapleton.

The Panthers open their second season on the road at Stetson on Saturday, Sept. 6. Kickoff is at 7 p.m. Tickets for the game are available through the Florida Tech Ticket Office at a discounted price of $20 per ticket until Thursday, July 31.

Season tickets are also available through the ticket office for the Panthers’ home games at Palm Bay High School’s Pirate Stadium.

The season ticket prices are $65 for adults and $40 for seniors ages 65 and above, children ages 5-16 and FIT faculty and staff for all five home games. Faculty and staff can purchase up to two adult season tickets at the discounted rate of $40.
