The Titusville Police have identified Laurie Horowitz, 60, of Titusville as the woman found dead in the water at the Titusville Municipal Marina, located at 501 Marina Road in Titusville on Sunday. (See map above)

Paramedics pronounced Horowitz deceased at the scene and was taken to the Brevard County Medical Examiner’s Office for an autopsy to determine the cause of death.

According to the Titusville police, though this case remains open until the final results from the Medical Examiner’s Office are reviewed, there are no obvious signs of foul play.

“The Titusville Police Department is thankful to the community who contacted us with information on this case,” said Sergeant Glen Hamann of the Titusville Police Department.

Titusville Police Seek Identity of Dead Woman

Found Dead In the Water At Titusville Municipal Marina

BREVARD COUNTY • TITUSVILLE, FLORIDA – The Titusville Police is seeking the identity of a woman found dead in the water at the Titusville Municipal Marina, located at 501 Marina Road in Titusville. (See map above)

The Titusville Police Department received a report Saturday at 10:15 p.m. of a person in the water at the maria and both the Titusville Police and the Titusville Fire and Emergency Services responded to the call.

Paramedics pronounced the woman deceased at the scene, according to police.

Titusville Police have not been able to identify the female, and are asking for the community’s help.

The dead woman is described as a white female in her 50s or 60s with dark grey hair, approximately 5-feet-tall and was wearing a navy blue sweater over a black shirt, black pants, black socks and black sandal type shoes. The woman did not have any visible tattoos.
