Sheriff’s Annual Reindeer Run Set For Dec. 13

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The Brevard County Sheriff’s Office Police Athletic League and City of Cape Canaveral will host the 19th Annual Reindeer Run on Saturday, Dec. 13, at Cherie Down Park in Cape Canaveral.
Proceeds from the event benefit the Brevard County Police Athletic League.
The Reindeer Run is the final leg of the Holiday Beach Classic Mini Series featuring the “Fall into Winter 5K’ and the ‘Turkey Trot 5K”.
The participant course is certified by USA Track & Field and is managed by the Running Zone.
The Reindeer Run is a proud member of the “Space Coast Runner of the Year” Series Event.
The race will begin at Cherie Down Park at 8:00 a.m.
Early registration opportunities are available until December 4, 2014, is $25. All registrations after December 4 are $30.
The Kids Fun Run is free of charge.
Prizes will be awarded to winners in each age division, with an overall first, second and third places, as well as door prizes for participants.
