BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Brevard County Manager Stockton Whitten will host a “Developer’s Roundtable” from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Monday, Feb. 9, for a discussion with community developers on growth issues, land use, development activities and building trends.
The meeting will be held in the Florida Room, third floor of Building C, at the Brevard County Government Center, 2725 Judge Fran Jamieson Way, in Viera.
The goal of the Developer’s Roundtable is to bring key County department heads to the table with members of the development community on a quarterly basis. The roundtables invite open and informal discussions on development processes, organizational approaches, processes and issues on both sides of the table.
“The emphasis is to share information and obtain external industry input as the County seeks to address potential and appropriate improvements that will reduce misunderstandings, enhance communications and increase efficiencies,” Whitten said.
“We look forward to hearing from development industry participants about their experiences with Brevard County as well as their experience in other Florida cities and counties that can help us in performing better service to our customers and residents.”
Whitten is asking area developers, builders and/or their representatives interested in taking part in future Developer’s Roundtables to contact the County Manager’s Office at 321-633-2002.
