Agents from the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office are investigating multiple drug use overdoses that were reported on Monday.  The overdose cases appear to be related to heroin.

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Agents from the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office are investigating multiple drug use overdoses that were reported on Monday.  

According to Major Tod Goodyear of the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office, the overdose cases appear to be related to heroin.

Overall, 11 overdoses were reported in the Cape Canaveral and Merritt Island areas, with one death associated to date.
