Palm Bay Man Arrested After TV Dispute Escalates To Him Holding Gun To Woman’s Head

BREVARD COUNTY • PALM BAY, FLORIDA – A Palm Bay man was arrested last week after a TV dispute escalated to him a holding a gun to a woman’s head.
Police say the man shoved a handgun into a woman’s mouth after she complained he was talking too much during a TV show, according to a report by WESH.
Police identified the man as 55-yea-old Calvin Lindsey. He was arrested and booked into the Brevard County Jail on battery and assault charges.
According to the report, after the woman complained he was talking too much during the show, Lindsey exited the area and went into a bedroom and shut the door.
Later, the woman entered the room Lindsey was in to get a blanket when she heard the sound of a shotgun being racked.
After telling Lindsey he was trying to intimidate her, the woman was pushed down with Lindsey shoving the barrel of a handgun in her mouth.
Police said the woman broke her tooth.
Lindsey is being held on $175,000 bond.
His court date has been set for February 21 in front of Judge Rhonda Babb.
