SPACE COAST DAILY TV: Veronica Petrinec, a 2018 Titusville High School graduate, talks with the Friday Night Locker Room’s Steve Wilson about her freshman year at Tulane University and the upcoming bowling season for the Green Wave.
BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Veronica Petrinec, a 2018 Titusville High School graduate, dropped by the Space Coast Daily – Friday Night Locker Room Mike Erdman Cadillac Studios on Thursday to chat with the Friday Night Locker Room’s Steve Wilson about bowling, and college life, at Tulane University.
Petrinec is going into her sophomore year at Tulane where, as a freshman, bowled a 246 vs. Texas Southern earlier this year.
At Titusville High, Petrinec was the Florida State High School Athletics Association state runner-up in 2017 and a two-year captain for the Terriers.
She led the Terriers to the FHSAA Florida High School Bowling Championships three times, including a state title in 2014 and semifinal finishes in 2015 and 2016.
In addition to her runner-up finish in 2017, Petrinec earned a spot in the FHSAA Florida High School Bowling Championships Girls Individual Bracket in 2014 and 2016 and was the first-ever bowler at Titusville High School to earn the Dan Diesel Terrier Sportsmanship Award.
She has posted a career-high game of 299, a three-game series 731 score and a six-game series 1,290 score – and has competed at the United State Bowling Congress Junior Gold Championships each of the last four years.
