Full Sail’s TechFest/Esport Invitational to Visit Palm Bay High Tuesday, March 10

Students will get hands-on experience with technology, including everything from 3D printing to virtual reality

Full Sail University will be visiting Palm Bay Magnet High School’s Digital Design/Multimedia Digital IT Department, on Tuesday, March 10, as part of its TechFest/Esport Invitational spring tour.

BREVARD COUNTY • PALM BAY, FLORIDA – Full Sail University will be visiting Palm Bay Magnet High School’s Digital Design/Multimedia Digital IT Department, on Tuesday, March 10, as part of its TechFest / Esport Invitational spring tour.

Students will get hands-on experience with technology that includes everything from 3D printing to virtual reality, and also have the opportunity to learn more about careers in augmented and virtual reality simulation, cloud-based and mobile application development, and esports broadcasting, production, and design.

During each class period, eight pre-selected students will be invited to compete in the Super Smash Bros. Esport Tournament portion of the event.

First, second and third place winners during each class period will receive a special invitation to compete on Full Sail University’s campus for the final High School Super Smash Tournament taking place on April 18.

Players invited to this final tournament will be coming from high schools throughout the state of Florida (approximately 150-200 competitors) and will compete to win a trophy, a Full Sail University scholarship opportunity, and a gymnasium banner for their high school.
