Florida’s Freedom Week Sales Tax Holiday Set for July 1-7

Florida Department of Revenue announced on Monday that consumers can purchase qualifying recreation, outdoor items, admissions to entertainment and cultural events will be exempt from tax during the 2021 Freedom Week Sales Tax Holiday.

TALLAHASSEE, FLORIDA – Florida Department of Revenue announced on Monday that consumers can purchase qualifying recreation, outdoor items, admissions to entertainment and cultural events will be exempt from tax during the 2021 Freedom Week Sales Tax Holiday.

Passed by the Florida Legislature and signed into law by Gov. Ron DeSantis, the sales tax holiday begins Thursday, July 1 and extends through Wednesday, July 7.
