Brevard County Sheriff’s Office Identifies Homicide Victim as 64-Year-Old Man from Merritt Island

BREVARD COUNTY • MERRITT ISLAND, FLORIDA – The Brevard County Sheriff’s Office has identified the man who was the victim of a homicide Thursday evening in Merritt Island as 64-year-old Joseph Hall from Merritt Island.
The investigation began when deputies responded to a residence on Hunt Drive at approximately 9 p.m. after the Sheriff’s Office was contacted by Hall’s roommate who returned home and found a male dead in the residence.
Upon the deputies arrival, they located Hall who was pronounced dead at the scene.
The investigation is ongoing as agents continue to conduct interviews and examine evidence from the scene.
No arrests have been made at this time.
