BREVARD COUNTY • MERRITT ISLAND, FLORIDA – Thank you to everyone who participated in yesterday’s Annual Independence Day Parade hosted by the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office and Veteran’s Memorial Center.
With over 40 floats and displays, the parade was a huge success as the parade participants traveled past hundreds of spectators in their red, white, and blue costumes and decorated vehicles to show their amazing love for our country.
Even though it was the hottest 4th of July in the last 20 years, it didn’t stop Brevard County from showing their patriotism and love for our great nation.
Hopefully the icee pops our team members we’re handing out helped to cool everyone down and yes…Junny is so spoiled that we had a swimming pool waiting on him at the end of the parade to cool him down.
I truly can’t thank everyone enough who participated in yesterday’s parade and of course, all of the spectators who celebrated our nation’s Independence with us.
Also a huge thank you to all of our agency team members who came out wearing their red “Independence Day” t-shirts to show our community how much we love our country and citizens.
