BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The National Weather Service on Thursday calls for a chance of showers and thunderstorms, then showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm after 2 p.m. Skies will be partly sunny, with a high near 94, with Heat index values as high as 110. West southwest winds will be 10 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph. The chance of precipitation is 70%, with new rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
