Motorcyclist Killed in Crash With Brevard Public Schools Bus Near Central Middle School in West Melbourne

A yet-to-be identified motorcyclist was involved in a fatal crash on Thursday morning with a Brevard Public Schools bus near Central Middle School in West Melbourne school. According to West Melbourne Police Lt. Graig Erenstoft, no students were injured on the bus and were transferred to another bus.

BREVARD COUNTY • WEST MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – A yet-to-be identified motorcyclist was involved in a fatal crash on Thursday morning with a Brevard Public Schools bus near Central Middle School in West Melbourne.

According to West Melbourne Police Lt. Graig Erenstoft, no students were injured on the bus, and were transferred to another bus after the incident.

Lt. Erenstoft said the crash happened at 9:20 a.m. on Wingate Boulevard near the bus drop-off loop at Central Middle School.

The crash, which resulted in the victim’s body being trapped under the bus, is under investigation by police.
