PALM BAY POLICE: Missing Angel Luis Martinez, 78, Found Dead; Suffered Early Stages of Dementia

PBPD: We are moved by our community’s commitment to finding Angel

BREVARD COUNTY • PALM BAY, FLORIDA – The Palm Bay Police Department announced that 78-year-old Angel Luis Martinez was found dead on Tuesday.

Angel was last seen alive on Sunday wearing a white shirt and Christmas pajama pants around the area of Raymore Street and Fairlee Avenue NW.

Angel suffered from the early stages of Dementia and was hard of hearing. Police officials did not specify the circumstances and cause of death.

Palm Bay Police officials released the following statement:

It is with a heavy heart that we share the devastating news of Angel’s passing. Despite our efforts, Angel was found deceased. We are moved by our community’s commitment to finding Angel.

In times like these, it is important to come together as a community and support one another. Our thoughts and prayers are with Angel’s family and friends.

We thank the citizens who contacted our investigators with possible locations where Angel may have been.

The broadcast filtered through our media partners and calls from our dedicated citizens were instrumental in locating Angel and bringing closure to his family during this difficult time.
