PREP BASEBALL: Five Brevard County Teams Prepare for Regional Playoff Action on Tuesday

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Five High School teams from around the Space Coast begin their journey to a State Championship with the FHSAA regional quarterfinals starting on Tuesday.

Rockledge Raiders (25-2), Merritt Island Mustangs (21-5), MCC Hustlers (19-8), and Viera Hawks (14-11) claimed district titles as they entered the playoffs.

The Satellite Scorpions are 15-8 entering the postseason.

Tuesday, May 7

■ No. 2 Rockledge vs. No. 7 South Fork – 7:00 p.m.

■ No. 5 Viera at No. 4 Lake Minneola – 7:00 p.m.

Wednesday, May 8 

■ No. 1 Merritt Island vs. No. 8 Dunnellon – 7:00 p.m.

■ No. 7 Satellite at No. 2 Nature Coast Tech – 7:00 p.m.

■ No. 8 MCC at No. 1 North Broward Prep –  6:30 p.m.
