Eastern Florida State Volleyball Team Ranks No. 19 in Preseason NJCAA Division I Poll

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The Eastern Florida State College women’s volleyball team will open the season as one of the top 20 teams in NJCAA Division I volleyball.

The Titans are ranked No. 19 in the NJCAA Division I preseason poll released on Monday, extending their streak to 11 consecutive weeks ranked in the top 20.

Eastern Florida State College will open the regular season at the FSW Battle at the Beach Tournament this week. The Titans will face No. 5 Trinity Valley in the Fort Myers season opener Friday at 10 a.m.

Then they will play No. 11 ranked Utah State Eastern at 3 p.m.

On Saturday the Titans will play No. 4 Salt Lake Community College at 11:30 a.m., wrapping up the tournament against Missouri State University-West Plains at 4:30 p.m.

Defending national champion Florida Southwestern is ranked No. 1 in the poll with Miami Dade second and Northeastern is ranked third.

Eastern Florida State College will be home for the first time on Sept. 18.
