Panthers open their season on September 6

The Panthers open their season on September 6 when they play Lander University in Winter Park, Florida.

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – The Florida Tech men’s soccer team checked in at third on the United Soccer Coaches Top 25 preseason poll released on Tuesday, August 6.

Under Nick Robinson, who takes over as head coach after three seasons as Robin Chan’s associate head coach and assistant coach, the Panthers look to make another run at the NCAA Tournament.

Robinson and the Florida Tech Men’s Soccer Coaching Staff were named the USC Division II South Region Coaching Staff of the Year in 2022 and 2023, as well as the 2022 SSC Coaching Staff of the Year.

Tech is coming off a historic season for the Panthers. The team recorded a 13-3-5 record on its way to the program’s fifth Final Four appearance and NCAA South Regional Championship. Florida Tech also went undefeated at home in the regular and postseason.

Florida Tech was ranked first in the South Region for seven of the 10 weeks and nationally for all nine weeks of the regular season. The Panthers were the No. 2 seed throughout the NCAA Tournament.
