Eastern Florida State Women’s Cross Country Places 11th in NJCAA Half Marathon Championships

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The Eastern Florida State College women’s cross country team placed 11th in the NJCAA Half Marathon Championships Tuesday morning in Virginia.

The Titans were just two points away from a top 10 finish in the race. Salt Lake Community College won the event giving them a weekend sweep.

Freshman Rori Pandolfini placed 39th overall, finishing in one hour and 35 minutes and nine seconds while teammate Amelia Shephard placed 44th overall in 1:38:06.4. Isabella Narvaez came across in 64th place with a time of 1:41:15.3 while Trinity Trett was 75th overall in 1:43:46.2 and Marlie Gonzalez finished 83rd in 1:46:11.3.

Abigail Derisme finished in 1:51:36.5 and finished in the top 100, placing 93rd.

Individually, Odessa’s Elizabeth Ilanda won the race at 1:20:03.3.
