BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – The Eastern Florida State College men’s soccer team is ranked eighth in the NJCAA Division I preseason poll released on Monday.
The Titans, who have reached the NJCAA Division I National Tournament in each of the past three seasons, begin the season where they were all of last season – in the top 10.
Region 8 Conference foe Daytona State College is ranked second with Indian Hills Community College ranked No 1 in the poll.
The Titans were also ranked fifth in the United Soccer Coaches Association Junior College Division I preseason poll.
Eastern Florida State College will host a couple of scrimmages before opening the regular season in South Carolina on Aug. 21.
The Titans will play USC Lancaster at 7:30 p.m. on the 21st and then play USC Sumter on Sunday the 23rd at 10 a.m.
