BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – The Eastern Florida State College women’s soccer team begins the season ranked 18th in the NJCAA Division I preseason poll released on Monday.
The women’s soccer team is coming off an eight-win season and have now been ranked nationally for the past two seasons.
Region 8 Conference foe Daytona State College is the national defending champion and ranked No. 1 in the poll with Miami Dade College ranked 17th.
Monroe community College, who will come to Eastern Florida State College for a matchup on Oct. 8 is ranked 13th in the poll. The Titans will also play No. 4 Seminole State College on Sept. 29 in Kansas.
The Titans are also ranked 10th in the nation in the United Soccer Coaches Association Junior College Division I preseason poll
Eastern Florida State College will open the regular season at USC Lancaster at 10:30 a.m. on the 21st and then play Montgomery College on Sunday the 23rd at 9 a.m.
