Dr. Terry Cronin Announces Candidacy for Florida House of Representatives District 32

Dr. Cronin has been Melbourne resident for 52 years

Dr. Terry Cronin, a Brevard County physician and business owner for over 25 years, has announced his candidacy for Florida House District 32.

Respected Physician, Community Leader, and Family Man to Bring Experience and Conservative Values to Tallahassee 

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Dr. Terry Cronin, a Republican, Brevard County physician and business owner for over 25 years, has announced his candidacy for Florida House District 32.

Florida Rep. Debbie Mayfield now holds the Florida House of Representatives seat in District 32 and is now running for the Florida Senate District 19 seat that Randy Fine will be vacating to run for Michael Waltz’s U.S. Congress seat. President-elect Trump has endorsed Fine for the congressional seat and nominated Waltz as the next national security adviser.

Dr. Cronin owns and operates the Cronin Skin Cancer Center with his father and niece. He has treated thousands of patients annually and is recognized internationally for his work on the frontline of medicine. 

Dr. Cronin is the immediate past president of the American Academy of Dermatology and has advocated for skin cancer patients for many years in Washington, DC. He was recently appointed as an Ambassador to the 26th World Congress of Dermatology and has spoken internationally on skin cancer treatments.

Dr. Cronin has been married to his wife, Ava, for 33 years. They are college sweethearts who met while studying premed at the University of Florida.

He is a proud father of five children and an advocate for foster care and adoption.

A Melbourne resident for 52 years, Dr. Cronin co-founded the Melbourne Independent Filmmakers Festival in 1999 and serves as the Program Chair.

This community event is a fundraiser for the No Limits Academy, a school for severely disabled students. He and his wife volunteer at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. 

“As a physician, I know patients aren’t able to see their doctors of choice and access to a physician has never been more difficult. I hope to be the patient’s voice in Tallahassee regarding healthcare,” Cronin said.

According to Brevard County Election officials, the timing for the Florida Senate District 19 seat or the Florida House District 32 seat elections has not been set.
