Brevard Sheriff Wayne Ivey Endorses Trump Republican Dr. Terry Cronin for Florida House District 32

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Brevard County Sheriff Wayne Ivey has endorsed Dr. Terry Cronin for the Florida House of Representatives to fill the seat of outgoing Rep. Debbie Mayfield in the upcoming Tuesday, April 1 Special Primary Election.
The deadline to register to vote in this election is Monday, March 3.
“When it comes to keeping Brevard County safe, I need a partner in Tallahassee to stand side-by-side with as we implement President Trump’s strong America First agenda to stop illegal immigration from filtering into our community,” said Sheriff Ivey.
“Over the past few months, I’ve worked alongside Gov. DeSantis and the Florida Legislature to implement the nation’s strongest immigration enforcement laws. I trust Terry Cronin to be my partner in this fight and to be our voice in Tallahassee, which is why he has my complete endorsement.”
Dr. Cronin said, “I am truly blessed and honored to have the support of our nation’s best Sheriff, Wayne Ivey. For the past 12 years as Sheriff, Ivey has kept Brevard County safe, and I look forward to working alongside him in Tallahassee to implement the laws that will continue to keep Brevard County safe for all of our families.”
Dr. Cronin has been a local physician and business owner for over 25 years at the Cronin Skin Cancer Center, which he owns and operates with his father and niece. Dr. Cronin treats thousands of patients annually and is recognized internationally for his work on the frontline of medicine.
He is the immediate past president of the American Academy of Dermatology and has advocated for skin cancer patients for many years in Washington, DC. Dr. Cronin has recently been appointed as an Ambassador to the 26th World Congress of Dermatology and has spoken internationally on skin cancer treatments.

Dr. Cronin has been married to his wife, Ava, for 33 years. They are college sweethearts who met while studying premed at the University of Florida. Terry is a proud father of five children and an advocate for foster care and adoption.
A Melbourne resident for 52 years, Dr Cronin co-founded the Melbourne Independent Filmmakers Festival in 1999 and serves as the Program Chair. This community event is a fundraiser for the No Limits Academy, a school for severely disabled students. He and his wife volunteer at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.
“As a physician, I know patients aren’t able to see their doctors of choice and access to a physician has never been more difficult. I hope to be the patient’s voice in Tallahassee regarding healthcare.” Cronin states.

The deadline to register to vote in this election is Monday, March 3.
Voters who vote by mail must submit a new request to receive mail ballots for upcoming elections through 2026. Voters choosing to vote by mail have until 5 p.m. on March 20 to request a mail ballot be sent to them before the April 1st election.
