Palm Bay East Little League All-Stars Crowned District Champions, Advance to Sectionals

Face off against Port St. Lucie National Little League Juniors on June 21

BREVARD COUNTY • PALM BAY, FLORIDA — The Palm Bay East Little League 13- to 14-year-old All-Star team has made history, securing the District Championship last weekend with an undefeated 5-0 record. This marks the first time a Palm Bay East team has claimed a district title since 2017.
The team showcased exceptional talent throughout the tournament, dominating opponents with impressive wins against Palm Bay West 27 to 1, Greater West Melbourne 9 to 6, Viera Suntree 7 to 0, and two victories over EGLL 7 to 3 and a thrilling 3 to 2 extra-inning finish.
Adding to the excitement, many of the tournament games were hosted at the team’s home field, Knecht Park, a first for District 2. The championship game was held on Sunday, June 15th, at Max K. Rodes in West Melbourne.
The victorious Palm Bay East All-Stars are now set to compete for the Section 2 Championship.
They will face the Port St. Lucie National Little League Juniors team in a best-of-three series, beginning this Saturday, June 21st, at Sportsman Park in Port St. Lucie.
Games are scheduled for Saturday at 9:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m., with a deciding game, if necessary, on Sunday at 9:30 a.m.
The winner of this series will advance to the State Championship.
