BREVARD COUNTY • TITUSVILLE, FLORIDA – With a career that includes five Top Ten Billboard albums and more than two decades of touring, the North Carolina-based bluegrass Americana group Nu Blu is scheduled to make a Titusville tour stop on Friday, February 13.

The concert will take place at 7 p.m. at Shepherd’s Hall, located at 2073 Garden Street in Titusville, as part of the JT’s Bluegrass concert series.

Nu Blu is the kind of overnight success that comes only after years of dedication and steady growth.

In addition to their recording achievements, the four-member acoustic group now hosts the nationally syndicated television program Bluegrass Ridge, which airs in millions of homes worldwide.

Their Titusville performance is expected to focus on traditional bluegrass, gospel music, and several of the band’s well-known original songs, offering what organizers describe as an early Valentine’s Day gift for local audiences.

The band is led by the husband-and-wife duo Carolyn and Daniel Routh. Carolyn Routh’s smooth soprano vocals anchor the group’s sound, while Daniel Routh contributes multi-instrumental support and backing vocals.

They are joined by Austin Hefflefinger on banjo and guitar, and Justin Harrison on mandolin, fiddle, and percussion, creating a warm, layered Appalachian style rooted in tradition while embracing modern influences.

Among Nu Blu’s most recognized songs are chart-climbing singles such as Jesus and Jones, inspired by George Jones and featuring soul music icon Sam Moore. Recent releases from their album Where You’ve Been include The Will, featuring Ricky Skaggs and Sharon White, and When It Rains She Pours. In 2025, The Will earned a Josie Award for Music Video Performance of the Year, further cementing the band’s reputation within the industry.

JT’s Bluegrass promoter J.T. Shealy said he was eager to bring Nu Blu to Titusville after learning the group would be touring in Florida.

He noted the band’s crossover appeal and their ability to move seamlessly between bluegrass, gospel, country, and other musical styles. Shealy added that fans of traditional bluegrass acts such as Union Station are likely to appreciate Nu Blu’s sound and stage presence.
