BREVARD COUNTY • MERRITT ISLAND, FLORIDA – Gina Louise Cieslinski, 67, passed away on Sunday, April 5, 2026, in Merritt Island. She was born on October 22, 1958, in Homestead, Florida.

The beloved daughter of Henry and Anita Cieslinski. Gina is survived by her siblings: Patricia McCabe, Debbie Miller, and Joseph Cieslinski.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Anita Cieslinski, and her brother Mark Cieslinski.

Gina was an exceptional and caring mother to her sons, Garrett and Cody Scholer. She poured her heart into every moment with them, offering unconditional love, guidance, and a steady presence that shaped their lives in the most beautiful ways.

Her home was always filled with warmth and laughter, and she took immense pride in watching them grow into the men they are today.

Later in life, Gina found one of her greatest joys in becoming a full-time babysitter for her beloved grandchildren, Henry Scholer and Gianna Scholer.

She cherished every day that she spent caring for them, filling them with adventures, hugs, and endless affection.

While having an assortment of occupations throughout her life, she was a true treasure hunter at heart.

She had a passion for garage sales and thrift shopping, spotting hidden gems, and then restoring and reselling the unique finds she discovered.

It wasn’t just about the hunt or the sale for her; it was about sharing the joy she felt with others she interacted with.

Above all, Gina’s most remarkable gift was her attitude toward people. She approached every interaction with genuine kindness, a warm smile, and an open heart that made strangers feel like old friends immediately.

Her laughter was contagious, her encouragement sincere, and her positive spirit lifted those around her even on the hardest days. She left every room a little lighter and every person a little happier simply by being herself.

A memorial service will be held at Divine Mercy Church in Merritt Island on May 9 at 11 a.m. to celebrate her life. Please bring your best stories, favorite memories, and as many smiles as you can muster, as she deserves nothing less.
