Suntree Viera Cheer Team to Compete at Nationals in Orlando

BREVARD COUNTY • VIERA, FLORIDA – Suntree Viera Youth Football League Pee Wee Cheer Squad will travel to the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando on Monday, December 9th, to compete at the Pop Warner Nationals Cheer Competition.
This squad, comprised of 9 to 13-year-old youth cheerleaders, will perform at 3:21 pm.
The squad secured their position at Nationals when they took first place at the Regional Championship Competition at the Orlando Silver Spurs Arena over Thanksgiving break.
This is the first time this school has competed at nationals since 2018.
All current squad members are first and second year cheerleaders, which demonstrates significant skill for their level of experience.
Head Coach Lisa Mick says, “We are incredibly proud of the hard work that these ladies have put into this season, and we hope to show that work on the national stage.” Lisa, and the squad, thank Assistant Coaches Channa Percival and Kelly Almonte, as well as their board of directors for their season.
