Cocoa Police Seeking Driver of Silver Dodge Caravan in Hit and Run Investigation

BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA, FLORIDA – Cocoa police officers are seeking the public’s assistance with a hit-and-run investigation.

According to police, the incident occurred on February 6, just after 6:30 a.m., at the intersection of State Road 520 and Washington Avenue.

“An adult female was traveling on an e-bike in the bike lane of eastbound SR-520,” said Yvonne Martinez, public information officer for the Cocoa Police Department. “As she crossed the intersection of Washington Avenue, she was struck by a silver Dodge Caravan that was also traveling eastbound on SR-520 and turning southbound on Washington Avenue. The female victim suffered a broken wrist. The driver of the silver Dodge pulled into the Dunkin’ Donuts parking lot and got out of the vehicle to check on the victim but left the scene before emergency crews arrived.”

Officers would like to question the driver of the silver Dodge Caravan. The vehicle is believed to be a 2008-2012 model similar to the one pictured above.
