FPL’s Power to Save Program Will Assist Cocoa Families Lower Energy Costs with Free Efficiency Upgrades

FPL provides and installs free energy-efficiency products and services for qualified customers

BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA, FLORIDA — Florida Power & Light Company’s energy experts, customer care, and external affairs hosted a Power to Save event at Dr. Joe Lee Smith Community Center in Cocoa on Tuesday, April 8.
A free dinner will be provided for residents, while supplies last.
Through this program, FPL provides and installs free energy-efficiency products and services for qualified customers, including LED lightbulbs, weather-stripping/caulking, limited ductwork repair, water heater pipe-wrapping, water faucet aerator, and low-flow shower head, A/C unit inspection, and more.
During the event, FPL energy experts provided information on FPL programs and tips on how customers can keep their bills as low as possible. In addition, community resources included the Salvation Army, 211 Brevard County, St. Vincent de Paul Our Saviors Catholic Church, and Family Promise of Brevard County.
Customers are encouraged to review the guidelines for assistance.
The event was held on Tuesday, April 8, from 4 to 6 p.m. at Dr. Joe Lee Smith Community Center, 415 Stone Street, Cocoa. A free dinner was offered for attendees.
