OBITUARY: Engineer and Author Halim Ozkaptan Passes Away Sept. 9 in Arnold, Maryland at Age 92

Halim Ozkaptan, a husband, father, grandfather, friend, and a great man passed away peacefully in his sleep on September 9, 2022, at the age of 92 in Arnold, Maryland. Halim earned his Ph.D. in Psychology, and much of his career focused on human factors engineering and the development of aircraft cockpits and simulators for the military. Roberto DeJesus Rivera (Chef Roberto) 73 of Palm Bay, FL passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on September 9, 2022. He moved to Lorain, Ohio and cooked in several restaurants. He then moved to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and continued his passion for cooking. He moved to Palm Bay in 1988 and continued working as an Executive Chef for several restaurants and assisted living facilities. He retired in 2015.
