Update: Police Hunting Palm Bay TD Bank Robber

BREVARD COUNTY • PALM BAY, FLORIDA – Patrol officers and detectives from the Palm Bay Police Department are searching for a suspect wanted for a bank robbery in the city this morning.

At about 11:45 a.m. Friday, emergency dispatchers received a 911 call from employees at the TD Bank at 4625 Babcock St. NE.

A suspect entered the bank and handed the teller a note demanding money, accorfing to Palm Bay Police spokeswoman Yvonne Martinez.

The teller complied and the suspect fled the bank.

He is described as a white male in his 30’s to 40’s wearing a green long-sleeved shirt with jeans.

The suspect was wearing a dark wig with glasses.

Martinez said no one was injured in the robbery.

Investigators released a series of photographs of the robbery to the medaio by mid-afternoon and cautioned residents that if they see or recognize the robber to not try and apprehend him.

Because the suspect may be armed and dangerous, police are asking residents to call them with tips that may lead to the robber’s arrest.
