BREVARD COUNTY • VIERA, FLORIDA – Great weather greeted hundreds of supporters who came out to Space Coast Stadium in Viera on Saturday for the 2013 March of Dimes Walk.
Brevard County Sheriff Wayne Ivey addressed the crowd attending and pledged his support for the March of Dimes organization.
The mission of the March of Dimes is to improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth and infant mortality. The group raises money throughout the year to fund research into the problems that threaten babies and works on preventing them.
