Sgt. Thomas F. House of the Titusville Police Department said Anthony David Mister, 39, of 1011 English Street in Titusville was arrested Tuesday afternoon and charged with possession of child pornography and possession of pornographic images including children under the age of 5 and sex acts.

House said that in December a police report was made to the Titusville Police Department by the owner of the Aamco Gas Station at 610 Cheney Highway in Titusville.

The Aamco owner discovered two flash drives at his business that he did not recognize and when he opened the files, he discovered child pornography. He immediately  notified police and turned the material over to authorities.

The flash drives contain more than 600 images of children involved in various sexual acts ranging from infants to teens.

Hosue said Titusville Detective Corporal Gary Boyer visited the Aamco on Tuesday to arrange interviews with employees.

He said after the detective departed the premises, the suspect approached the station’;s owner and indicated he had done something wrong and would be going away.

The suspect went home to speak with his wife about the case and then drove to the police department where he asked to speak to Boyer.

He confessed that the flash drives were his and indicated that he has been “trolling” for children since he was in his 20’s and lived in another city.

House said Mister admitted to police after being read his Miranda rights that he used his employer’s computers to download images and videos of child pornography.

The suspect also told police he has never picked up a child, but has tried on a regular basis to do so.

The Titusville Police Department is continuing to investigate and has made contact with the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, Brevard County Sheriff’s Department and agencies in South Florida where Mister formerly resided about the crime.

Mister was transported to the Brevard County Jail wherte he is being held on a $14 million bond.
