OBITUARY

Curtis Virgil Lochman

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA — Curtis Virgil Lochman, 78, of Melbourne, born August 20, 1933, in Hibbing Minnesota to Walton and Blanche Lochman and passed away March 23, 2012.

He graduated from Seaman High School in Topeka, Kansas and attended University of Kansas.

Curt served his country honorably in the United States Air Force.

He moved to Melbourne in 1959.

Curt started his Civil Service Career with the Atomic Energy Commission in Kansas City, eventually transferring to Patrick Air Force Base as a civilian engineer, where he retired in 1989.

Curt loved his church, Trinity Presbyterian, where he served as an Elder, his family, and his Ham radio club, the Platinum Coast Amateur Radio Club.

Curt was predeceased by his parents, his brother, Walton Lochman, Jr. and his sister, Connie Hutton.

He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Sandra Lochman; his daughters, Laura (Dan) Wickell of Davenport, Florida and Vicki (Martin) Kendrick of Beavercreek, Ohio; his brother, William (Lois) Lochman of Independence, Missouri; sister-in-law, Wilma; 6 grandchildren, Matthew (Michelle), James (Amy), Megan, Kaitlyn, Ashley and Hallie; 3 great grandsons, Curtis, Tyler and Brandon, as well as numerous cousins, nieces and nephews and a large extended family and friends.

A celebration of Curt’s life will be held at Trinity Presbyterian Church, 638 South Patrick Drive, Satellite Beach, Florida, on Monday, March 26, 2012, at 4:00 p.m, Dr. Michael Carey, officiating. Casual attire encouraged!

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Trinity Presbyterian Church in memory of Curt.
