BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Does anyone remember playing a broken record and it would keep repeating itself?

The median sales price, which doesn’t account for any seller concessions and/or down payment assistance, was up 16.2% $122,000 for single-family homes and up 22% $115,015 for Condos and Town Homes.

Well I believe my monthly real estate reports are starting to sound like a broken record: “There are more closed sales, pending sales are up and in general inventory is down across Florida. I’ll mention once again that prices are up.”

Justin Brown

“It’s amazing how the real estate market has consistently improved over the last year,” said Justin Brown, Broker/Owner of RE/MAX Elite in Brevard County.

“All indicators remain positive and continues to accelerate as the recovery picks up steam. So far our 65 seasoned sales agents have closed $182,099,943 this year compared to $123,473,471 this same time last year. We still feel that the best is yet to come and we are looking forward to starting the 1st quarter of 2013 off with a bang!”

Our inventory continues to disappear like the most popular Christmas toys flying off store shelves.

Last year in November we had 5,967 available single-family, Condos and Town Homes for sale. Last month there were only 3,388 available representing a 43.5% decline.

We will be wishing that Santa Clause will bring us some lovely Ocean Front Condos and many Single-Family Homes to sell.
