Citizens Police Academy Positions Open In West Melbourne

BREVARD COUNTY • WEST MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – The West Melbourne Police Department is accepting applications for its Citizen’s Police Academy.
The West Melbourne Police Department is seeking individuals who live and/or work in the city of West Melbourne for its spring 2013 Citizens Police Academy.
Through our commitment to community and business partnerships, this one night a week, seven-week course will acquaint participants with the roles, tactics, and responsibilities of the men and women that serve and protect our city.
Applications may be picked up in person at the West Melbourne Police Department or send an e-mail requesting an application to jdick@westmelbourne.org.
The deadline for applications is Feb. 20.
