Melbourne Bicyclist Killed In Accident On Aurora Road

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – A bicyclist was struck and killed last night at 9:20 p.m. on Aurora Road near Croton Road (map above), according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, Claude June, 66, of Satellite Beach, was driving a 2008 Ford van traveling east on Aurora Road in the right lane when the bicyclist rode into June's path. The bicycle did not have any lights.

The bicyclist, identified by the Florida Highway Patrol as Allen Leroy Morgan, 41, of Melbourne was transported to Holmes Regional Medical Center where he died.

Claude was uninjured, and this crash remains under investigation.
