Brevard Physician Associates begin oct. 1
BREVARD COUNTY • ROCKLEDGE, FLORIDA – Health First is pleased to announce that beginning on Oct. 1, the newly formed Brevard Physician Associates will provide emergency medicine, radiology and anesthesiology services to all Health First hospitals.

This includes Health First Cape Canaveral Hospital, Health First Holmes Regional Medical Center, Health First Palm Bay Hospital and Health First Viera Hospital.
Brevard Physician Associates (BPA) brings together more than 75 local physicians and 70 advanced-level practitioners, and includes physicians and healthcare leaders from Brevard Emergency Services, Space Coast Emergency Physicians, Brevard Anesthesia Services and Central Brevard Radiology.

Inaugural officers include Marty Brown, MD, Chief Executive Officer, formerly of Brevard Emergency Services; Michael McGoohan, DO, Chief Operating Officer, formerly of Space Coast Emergency Physicians; Aaron Hattaway, MD, Chief Financial Officer, formerly of Central Brevard Radiology; and Ricardo Gotay, MD, Chief Quality Officer, formerly of Brevard Anesthesia Services
BPA will employ more than 150 people including physicians, physician extenders and support staff. The goal will be to provide efficient, quality, patient-focused care throughout all hospital and outpatient experiences.
“We entered into this agreement so we can continue to ensure a consistent and efficient process at all Health First facilities, and to help us to achieve our goals of quality, no harm, customer experience and stewardship,” said Health First Executive Vice President, Chief Operating Officer Stuart Mitchell.
These groups are coming together to provide a seamless transition and top patient care to local hospitals and outpatient facilities.
