LUXOR, EGYPT – Animal Care in Egypt is a charity dedicated to helping stop the suffering of thousands of animals in the poorest communities of Luxor by providing free veterinary care and education.

Luxor is a city in Upper Egypt and has frequently been characterized as the “world’s greatest open air museum,” as the ruins of the temple complexes at Karnak and Luxor stand within the modern city.

Immediately opposite, across the River Nile, lie the monuments, temples and tombs on the West Bank Necropolis, which include the Valley of the Kings and Valley of the Queens.
Thousands of tourists from all around the world arrive annually to visit these monuments, contributing a large part towards the economy for the modern city.
POSITIVE IMPACT ON WELFARE OF WORKING ANIMALS

For almost 15 years ACE has been providing free veterinary care to help animals when they need it most. This is alongside preventative treatments and education, delivering a long term impact on the welfare of working animals and the people that depend on them so greatly for their livelihoods.
These hard working animals often lack the most basic veterinary care. Many are neglected or mistreated, not through malice, but due to lack of understanding or provisions.
