Two Motorcyclists Killed On Babcock In Head On Collision

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Two people were killed Sunday evening about 6:30 p.m. when the motorcycle they were riding was struck head on while traveling southbound on Babcock Street, just south of Micco Road, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

Tony R. Inman, 53, of Grant was driving northbound on Babcock Street just south of Micco Road, when the motorcycle attempted to pass a southbound vehicle, and was struck head on by Inman’s 2001 Chevy SUV.

Both occupants of the motorcycle , Leopoldo  Boyzo and Jose Hernandez (Both 23, from Fellsmere) were ejected and died on scene. Neither rider was wearing a helmet, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

Inman suffered minor injuries and was transported to Palm Bay Hospital.

This crash remains under investigation.
