BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Coming off a successful Winter Break program, Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex has expanded its Camp KSC schedule for 2 through 9 graders that includes a three-day version during the 2017 spring break.

Offered April 12 – 14, the program introduces campers to the elements of rocket propulsion and design, the history of NASA and the brilliant minds who made it all possible.

Students will launch self-made rockets and perform a simulated space shuttle mission to deploy a satellite or to dock their payload with the International Space Station.

Other activities include “training like an astronaut” in the Multi-Axis Trainer, climbing the micro-gravity wall and more. Starting in June, nine week-long sessions are available throughout the summer.
