BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA BEACH, FLORIDA – Cocoa Beach Pier’s popular Rikki Tiki Tavern has reopened to guests after being remodeled and rebuilt due to Hurricane Matthew damage last October.
Located at the end of the 800-foot long Westgate Cocoa Beach Pier, directly over the ocean, the Rikki Tiki Tavern features spectacular ocean views, open-aired seating and all of your favorite specialty drink concoctions.
“We want to thank all of our loyal guests and visitors for being patient as we work through the damages from Hurricane Matthew and make the Cocoa Beach Pier better than ever,” Westgate officials said on Facebook.
“We believe you will find it to be the best locale in all of Brevard County to hang out and enjoy a refreshing tropical drink, while taking in the spectacular ocean views. A special thank you goes out to all those who contributed in building the Rikki Tiki Tavern, including Logan Diving and Salvage, Big Kahuna, Tiki Huts, Nui Tiki, Vincent Plumbing and Holt Electric, as well as the City of Cocoa Beach for all their assistance.
“We still have more improvements in the works, so we appreciate your patience as we continue to enhance the Cocoa Beach Pier experience for your enjoyment.”
Fishing off the pier, which had been a local favorite 54-year tradition, will no longer be allowed.
