SpaceX Falcon 9 Rocket Launch ‘Standing Down’ This Weekend From Cape Canaveral

SpaceX announced that the Falcon 9 rocket launch from Cape Canaveral carrying the Hispasat 30W-6 communications satellite is “standing down from this weekend’s launch attempt to conduct additional testing on the fairing’s pressurization system.” (SpaceX Image)

BREVARD COUNTY • CAPE CANAVERAL, FLORIDA – SpaceX announced that the Falcon 9 rocket launch from Cape Canaveral carrying the Hispasat 30W-6 communications satellite is “standing down from this weekend’s launch attempt to conduct additional testing on the fairing’s pressurization system.”

New target launch date will be announced at a later date.

The upcoming launch will be the first launch since the record-breaking Falcon Heavy launch on February 6.

According to SpaceFlightNow, Hispasat 30W-6 satellite will provide television, broadband, corporate networks and other communications services over Europe, North Africa and the Americas.
