BREVARD COUNTY • VIERA, FLORIDA – The Brevard County Sheriff’s Office hosted the 1st Annual “Law Enforcement Appreciation Parade” and “Battle of the Badges” Saturday in concert with National Law Enforcement and Corrections Appreciation Week.

The parade that traveled through the Viera community was a showcase of agency members and resources from the various Law Enforcement Agencies and Fire Rescue Components throughout Brevard County, as well as various businesses and supporters of our teams who wanted to show their support for our community’s First Responders.

Once the parade ended everyone gathered together for the “Battle of the Badges” that pitted the various agencies and units against one another to try and earn the coveted title of Battle of the Badges Champion in the BBQ Challenge, the Chili Cook-off, and the incredible Cupcake Challenge.
