For more than 27 years, the Mike Erdman Auto Group has been an integral part of the Brevard County community and made its exciting and highly anticipated move into Brevard’s most modern auto dealer facility earlier this week.

Last Tuesday morning, the Mike Erdman Auto Group relocated its Nissan operations into the brand new state of the art 35-acre, 95,000 square foot facility, located at State Road 520 and Interstate 95.

The new facility will also house the Toyota dealership, which is scheduled to make the move into the new dealership off I-95 later this month.

Freddie Erdman, left, told Space Coast Daily’s Gina Liberto that the project had been years in the planning. “This is going to be a destination for Central Florida and the entire Southeast United States,” said Freddie.

Currently located on the State Road 520 Causeway in Merritt Island, the Mike Erdman Motors Nissan, Toyota and Cadillac dealerships have served the community with new and used vehicle sales and outstanding service.

Mike Erdman Cadillac will remain on Merritt Island and will move into the current Erdman Toyota location, located about two miles east at 1545 E. Merritt Island Causeway. The body shop will also expand and will continue to feature the Express Lane.

The new dealership is an anchor of the I-95-State Road 520-State 524 Cocoa expansion, which also includes a new Pilot Flying J Travel Center and a  massive 550,000-square-foot, $100 million Walmart warehouse distribution center set to open this fall.

Mike Erdman concluded the proceedings on Independence Day by thanking the sizable crowd featuring many Brevard County dignitaries by saying, “God bless America.”
