BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA – In the 2019 South Florida K9 Competition, German Shepherd K9 Bear and K9 team Officer Dan Rhoades from Cocoa Police Department excelled on the obstacle course.

Officer Rhoades and Bear put on a spectacular showing at the 2019 South Florida K9 Competition as Bear was one of the best German Shepherds on the course.

Bear and Officer Dan Rhoades are getting ready for the Space Coast Police K9 Competition in October at Cocoa High School.

Bear is 5-years old and came to the Cocoa Police Department in March 2015 after being purchased with money donated by local residents and business leaders.
