Palm Bay Police Community Resource Unit Hosts Patrol Car Coloring Contest for Grade School Students

The Palm Bay Police Department’s Community Resource Unit recently launched a contest with local schools where students in second, third, and fourth grades were given three different pictures of cars in their fleet to color. (PBPD image)

BREVARD COUNTY • PALM BAY, FLORIDA – The Palm Bay Police Department’s Community Resource Unit recently launched a contest with local schools where students in second, third, and fourth grades were given three different pictures of cars in their fleet to color.

Once the contest was complete, PBPD’s Community Resource Unit selected the winners and those pictures were printed and placed on the hood of their patrol cars.

They then went to share the exciting news with those students and schools.

“This was a fun contest, and PBPD thanks all the schools and students for participating,” said Palm Bay police officials.

The winners were selected from the following schools:

Palm Bay Elementary School (3rd grade)
Odyssey Charter School (4th grade)
Pineapple Cove Classical Academy (4th grade)
