BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Health First Medical Group Orthopedics will host free physical exams at 205 E. NASA Blvd., Suite 100 in Melbourne on Friday, May 27, from 1 to 5 p.m.

“Our highly trained and dedicated orthopedics team will volunteer their time and expertise to ensure all student-athletes stay healthy in the upcoming sports season,” said a Health First spokesperson.

The Florida High School Athletic Association requires a yearly physical examination as well as at least one electrocardiogram (EKG) over the career of a high school athlete.

Who We Play For, a local organization that aims to eliminate preventable sudden cardiac death in youth athletes through affordable heart screenings, will provide EKGs for $20.
