BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA, FLORIDA – Cocoa Police say the parents of 3-month-old twins, 23-year-old Quentin Smith, and 18-year-old Hannah Jones, face multiple child abuse charges after the death of one of their infants.

Smith, is facing charges of aggravated child abuse, child neglect with great bodily injury, and domestic battery.  Jones, is facing charges of aggravated child abuse, child neglect with great bodily injury, and failure to report the incident to law enforcement.

According to officials, Cocoa patrol officers responded to the 1000 block of North Fiske Boulevard after communications officers received a 9-1-1 call reporting an unresponsive child Thursday morning.
